Show Week

AGK Music Services brings an exciting, immersive musical theatre experience directly into your school.

Our professional Musical Director and Drama Director work intensively with your students across one dynamic week—arriving on Monday and guiding rehearsals each day—culminating in a fully staged performance by Friday.

Each production is a bespoke, original musical, thoughtfully created to reflect your school’s values, curriculum areas, or chosen themes. This ensures a meaningful experience that supports learning while inspiring creativity, confidence, and collaboration.

We understand that full school productions can be difficult due to curriculum pressures and licensing costs. To support this, AGK Music Services, in partnership with Keyte and Cammish Productions, creates all musicals in-house and provides workshop staff to lead rehearsals and performances. Schools joining the workshop week receive vocal guide tracks, digital scripts, and choreography videos for use in and out of school—offering a cost-effective, accessible solution for schools with smaller performing arts budgets.

Give your students the opportunity to take part in a truly memorable production experience.

The Tails of Flufferwump (The Musical)

Zagan, or as the cool kids call him, Zig Zag, lives a life tangled in shadows, haunted by the heart-wrenching loss of his parents. Suddenly, he found himself trapped in the gloomy digs of the Badger Home for Orphans—a place that felt more like a dungeon than a haven. Shared with nine other boys and meals that could win awards for tasting like cardboard, expired milk, and a sprinkle of sad childhood tears!

Then, plot twist! Zagan's toy-making gig took a wild turn when a mischievous lad "accidentally" created a slippery oil slick. Cue the cartoon antics! Zagan went full slapstick, slipping and sliding like he was in a banana peel contest, feet flying like he was auditioning for the circus, before crashing into a fantastical realm called Flufferwump Land! There, Zagan and our zany narrator joined forces to battle Flufferwump's troublemaking twin, Wumperfluff, and save the land from the dastardly Gummy Bear King. Buckle up, adventure awaits!

We had the pleasure of taking part in a vibrant and engaging African drumming session designed for people with learning disabilities — and what an incredible experience it was!

From the moment the session began, the energy in the room was electric. The facilitator created a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone felt safe and encouraged to express themselves. The rhythms were infectious, and the hands-on nature of the drumming allowed everyone to fully participate, regardless of ability or experience.

What stood out most was the way the session combined fun with therapeutic value. Drumming together helped build confidence, improve coordination, and foster a real sense of community and connection among the participants. Everyone was smiling, laughing, and clearly enjoying the opportunity to make music together.

The instructor was patient, enthusiastic, and skilled at adapting the session to meet individual needs. They took the time to ensure that everyone could follow along, offering support when needed while still allowing freedom for creativity and self-expression.

Overall, it was a joyful and uplifting experience that left a lasting impression. We would highly recommend this type of session to anyone looking for a fun, accessible, and empowering group activity. It was more than just music — it was a celebration of rhythm, inclusion, and shared experience.
